Varuna Mudra

The amount of water in an adult human body is more than 60 percent. The amount of water in our heart and brain is about 73%, the amount of water in lungs is 83%, the amount of water in the kidneys is 79%, the amount of water in skin is 64 %, and the amount of water in bones is about 31%. Every adult human body needs 2 liters to 3 liters of water per day.
If the balance of water in our body is disturbed, then we have to face many diseases. When the amount of water in the body decreases, the larynx starts to dry up and the skin becomes dry. Varuna Mudra fulfills the lack of water in the body and gives relief from diseases caused by lack of water.
Pollution, excessive television viewing, frequent computer work or frequent use of mobiles cause eye water to dry. Eye diseases occur when the eyes are dry. Eye moisture returns from Varuna Mudra.

Method of Varuna Mudra: -

                                                Sit down in Padmasana, Siddhasana, Sukhasana or Swastikasana. Keep both hands on your knees. Keep the palms up. Now join the thumb and the tip of the little finger. Apply light pressure. This is Varuna Mudra.

Duration: - 

                      Practice Varuna Mudra three times a day for 5 to 15 minutes.
